Interior & Architectural Designer / Project Manager

Margo T Design Group

In my current role as an Interior and Architectural Designer and Project Manager, I support residential and commercial projects from early concept development through construction completion. My work blends creative design, technical drafting, construction documentation, procurement coordination, and day-to-day project management to help move projects from design ideas into finished spaces.

I create architectural drawings, permit sets, floor plans, interior elevations, reflected ceiling plans, finish plans, schedules, construction details, and 3D visualizations. I also assist with space planning, material selections, furniture and fixture sourcing, lighting selections, finish palettes, design presentations, and client-facing visual documents. My role requires translating design concepts into buildable plans that contractors, vendors, clients, and trades can clearly understand and execute.

On the project management side, I coordinate with contractors, suppliers, inspectors, engineers, trades, and clients to keep projects organized and progressing. I assist with scheduling, sequencing, material takeoffs, procurement, order tracking, vendor communication, installation logistics, budget tracking, and project documentation. I also help troubleshoot field issues, clarify drawings, coordinate site conditions, and communicate updates between the design team, clients, and construction crews.

This position has given me hands-on experience with both the design and construction sides of residential and commercial projects. I have developed a strong understanding of construction methods, permitting, building codes, contractor coordination, jobsite communication, and the practical details required to bring a project from concept through completion.
